Besan chutney is a simple chutney which can be made within 15 minutes.Its very ideal with dosas and idlis.
Besan powder 1 cup
Tamarind juice 1 1/2 cups
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 sp
methi seeds 1/2 sp
Urad dal 1 spoon
Channa daal 1/2 sp
Curry leaves
Red chilli 2 nos made into slits
Green chillies 4 to 5 made into slits
Garlic and ginger paste 1/2 spoon
Place a pan on the stove add oil ,after heating add redchilli,channa,urad daals mustard and methi seeds. Then turn in to a low flame and add ginger garlic paste,curry leavesand green chilli slits .Then add besan powder and fry till brown in colour.Then switch off the stove and add  tamarind juice (made with tamarind from  a size of lime)
Very tasty and easily made with.
